Fillet weld maximum undersize over no more than 10% of the weld length
What does it means?
Please explain me...

If a fillet weld is specified by a welding symbol to measure 10-inches long with 5/16-inch legs, one inch of the weld can measure as small as 3/16-inch and still be acceptable, if the rest of the weld, 9-inches, measured the full 5/16-inch.
