Inquiry: (1) Can I qualify two welding processes on one test plate?
(2) Do I use the deposited weld metal thickness for each weld process to establish the range of
thickness qualified?
Response: (1) Yes.
(2) AWS D1.1:2006 does not address the range of qualified deposit thickness where more than
one process is combined within the same test plate.

Since the code itself allows multi process PQRs but it doesnt address the range of qualified deposited thickness for individual processes ?Then how can it possible?
