I've got some experience with the President of Arc Labs..  (Gene Crook) and their programs in the Houston area have been quite successful and had pretty good student feedback.  Gene is quite an interesting fellow and has grown the School/business and received some pretty high level accreditations.

As with any private welding school, the instructors on staff at the point of teaching make all the difference, so vetting is important in my opinion wherever you go.

They have campuses in Charleston, Piedmont & Columbia.
