I am looking at a welding repair of C1060 steel plate, about 1/4" thick and with a CE of .88.
I believe this to be difficult to weld. Any suggestions?

Thanks
John

What process will you use? For arc welding you can use a low-hydrogen
rod but a pre heat and post heat is a must. Austenitic stainless steel
or a nickel-based filler metals like E309, E312, or ENiCrFe-3 also may
be used. Any futher questions call MG Welding Hotline 800-558-8524
