Does anyone know what the Maximum work hardness is for 309 or 312 in Rockwell C?

Here is another site to check out. I found and old Inco publication titled, "Mechanical and Physical Properties of Austenitic Chromium-Nickel Stainless Steels at ambient temperture. This publication has information on Rc hardnesses. Inco is now called Special Metals. Good luck. www.specialmetalswelding. com
