According to ASME IX no NDT is required for Brazer Qualifications (except visual). If I've understood the code correctly NDT is not required for brazing procedure qualifications either.

I find that somewhat strange and need to be really sure. I would really have appriciated if page 197 to 198 (QB 140) where not missing (!) in my ASME IX, since these pages deal with test methods.

Are there any references to NDT on those pages?

QB-141 lists the following as "tests used in brazing procedure and performance qualifications":
- tension tests
- guided bend tests
- peel tests
- sectioning tests
- workmanship coupons
- visual examination
VT is the only nondestructive method listed.
