Solve Metal-Joining Problems, Reduce Manufacturing Costs

Design, metallurgical and production engineers are invited to take advantage of Wall Colmonoy’s expertise and practical experience in the field of brazing in an intensive three-day training course entitled “Modern Furnace Brazing.” The course takes place November 5-7, 2003 in Madison Heights, Michigan.

The Modern Furnace Brazing Course is now in its 33rd year. Recognized leaders in brazing technology who developed the course will present the curriculum: Robert Peaslee, Dr. S. Rangaswamy, and David Bielec.

The course covers detailed information and insights on brazing atmospheres, brazing filler metals, design, metallurgy and part processing considerations in furnace brazing. It will cover such topics as joint selection, interaction of base and filler metals, the role of protective atmospheres, joint preparation, fixturing and quality control. The final day will be devoted to problem-solving, so participants are encouraged to bring sample parts, prints and test data.

For more information, and registration, prospective students may call Marianne Huesing at 248-585-6400 ext. 248 or email mhuesing@wallcolmonoy.com
