I've inspected the construction of several rides- we just used AISC and AWS. Performance inspection was the states and parks responsibility.

The main thing I am looking for is a standard for maintinance type inspection. The park that were doing work for has us inspect ten percent of each ride once a year. That way every ten years the ride is acually 100 percent inspected. The main thing we do is Visual, PT, and MT. But I am the type that if I reject something, I like to have something in writing to back it up. A code or spec. ect...
