Your question is a poser and I am not trying to be a smarty but!

You posted it in an area for technical questions, not that your question is none technical.

So technically speaking you can not substitute processes with out re qualifing the procedure and it would be inappropriate for me to say you can weld it with any thing you can get your hands on unless you have some criteria to meet.
