Hey, I'm quoting a small job that is Nickle Aluminum Bronze. I also have limited info on this job, the customer said he thought it was something like C-63000 base material.
I've never welded NiAlBr. The welds are single bevel vee grove welds that are plate onto 2" tube so they are rather small.
Some questions that I have are;
* What polarity/ AC /GTAW
* Which gas
* What type Filler
* Electrode, 2% thor/ cer ?
* Techniques
* Preheat- interpass temp
Thank you- Ted

DCSP or AC
Filler metal ER CuNiAl
Argon, Helium,or a mixture
Preheat not to exceed 300DegF
Electrode would be dependent upon current/polarity.

AC with Argon provides best cleaning. Better penetration and higer travel speeds with DCSP.
