Oxweld Dupro 8

If no other response identifies rod, I do know Oxweld 7 is a drawn, nearly pure iron rod, and Oxweld 9 is a fine grained cast iron which is supposed to boast easy machining characteristics.

#8 should fall between the two? Honestly, I don't know and cannot find any specific reference to it in my library.

Thanks. I was thinking it might be a cast iron rod since the person that asked said they thought it had a lot of nickel content. I was hoping someone here had an old Linde catalog and could look it up.
