i finally did it

i brazed two half inch pieces of cast iron together,and put it in a vise and hit it with a 6 pound sledge for 15 minutes and still didn't show a sign of weakness.thank ya aws guys!

Sounds that you had great success. It would be very helpful if you would tell the rest of the brazing comunity how you acheved your sucess. To go one step further you coyle write it up and submit it to the Welding Journal. If you do not want to go that far or want to be anominus, I write the Brazing Q & A Column in the welding Journal and wot be pleased to write it up and include it in a column ob brazing of Cast Iron. Do you Know what type of Cast Iron you brazed?
