Dear pple,

I have to prepare welding procedures to repair a crack on this material SF45 DNV class.

Anyone has any information on this material?

Hi Sidekick

I can not give a definite answer, but I have a source that equates a material "D.N.V" to AISI H26 tool steel. Apparently made by Simonds steel division, Lockport, N.Y.

I do not know what the SF45 stands for.
