HI,

I am trying to put together some "moveable hoods" (really look more like funnels with tubes attached to them) to draw the nasty fumes away from my students work areas. I've seen these in several welding shops, often with a magnet attached to the bottom to keep in place on the table.

I was wondering if anyone had some plans, or any specific info on this. I can whip together a funnel okay, but if anyone has more accurate suggestions that woud be great. Also, what kind of flexible tubing is appropriate. I called my sheet metal ducting supplier and he didn't know what I was talking about.
