Hi,

If no where else, the chemical composition and related information for ERZR2 can be found on the Material Safety Data Sheet for Zirconium Bare Wire at this link:

http://www.oxfordalloys.com/pdf/MSDS_Zirconium%20Bare%20Wire.pdf

The chemical composition shown on the MSDS is the percentage of weight, as follows:

Zirconium 95.06, Hafnium 4.5, Oxygen 0.016, Hydrogen 0.005, Nitrogen 0.025, Carbon 0.05, and Iron 0.20.

The AWS Specification for ERZR2 is A5.24, which is the Specification for Zirconium and Zirconium Alloy Bare Welding Electrodes and Rods. The "ER" designates electrode or welding rod, and the "Zr" is the symbol for zirconium. I don't know what the "2" designates, but I'm guessing that it is for a particular analysis or usability factor. For example, for stainless steel tubular wires, the "2" indicates the use of argon plus 2% oxygen for shielding and DCEP. A5.24 is available for purchasing at the AWS site.
