Ok, lets say I'm welding a AWS A5.1 test plate and I happen to fail a tensile. Do I weld two more plates, or do I weld One plate and take Two tensiles out of it ???(plates are 12" long -1" on either end) so there for 10"Tensiles are 5" long and get machined down to either .505" or
.252" depending on size of rod and/or plate thickness.
answer this and I'll ask some more questions that are sorta related.
