Hi there,

I would like to know whether there is a barrier paper or whatever it is called to hold root protection neutral gas (Ar, He etc.) By doing this we would like to save time and gas. If there is such a paper would you please inform me where to buy. We are working in Turkey so it is better to give firm names from Europe. Thanks,

Here is company that is a manufacturer. http://www.dissolvo.com/ hopefully there is distributor over there since there seems to be alot of foreign trade going on. If not they may know another source.

Have a nice day

Here's a couple of links that might be useful:

http://www.huntingdonfusion.com/solublefilm.html

this is for soluble film similar to the dissolvo dam already mentioned.

for kits:

http://www.orbimatic.co.uk/purging1.htm

or the old fashioned way (I belive) is to use cones of ashless filter paper.

Cheers

In addition to dissolvable paper you may wish to consider the use of inflatable purge dams. One company, Intercon Enterprises ( http://www.intercononline.com ) makes both. There are others and I'm sure someone will be along soon to name them.
