When we set the switch for STAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) and turn the amperage on the finger control unit we get no real response. Whether on low or high we are getting too much heat output.

What can we do to rectify this. We weld at 0.8mm - 3.2mm range on mild steel and stainless

Please advise and also if there is another attachment to add to it.
