Does anyone have an equation for figuring pipe weights? I don't have such a thing or any charts that would help. I would appricieate any help!

Try these out. One is SI and the other is US.

If you go to Google and put in steel pipe weight you will get a bunch of hits. On interesting site that briefly explains the dimensions of pipe is http://www.chilipepperapp.com/pipe_weights_dimensions.htm .

I made a calculator in Excel for our clerk who has to occasionally calculate weights for projects.

calculation for weight per foot of pipe.
dia.minus- W.T. x times W.T. X times 10.68 it will get tht weight evertime. Jerry
