Recognition and congratulations are in order for the 6 medalist of the SkillsUSA welding competition held in late June in Kansas City, MO.
They competed against the top welders from each state and placed as follows:

Bronze - Caleb Sabo Ozarks Tech Com College Springfield, MO

Good job to each of the competitors from every state and to their respective instructors. The competition is intense and nerve racking, it involved SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, OFC, Weld Inspection, Knowlege tests, personal presentation and a SkillsUSA test. They have to be well rounded in all aspects of welding just to get to the competition.

Thanks also to the welding contest officials for their donated time and energies which provide all contestants with a fair and equitable contest.
Involvement with SkillsUSA has helped me to elevate the quality of our welding program by providing opportunities to gage our program against others in the state and nation. A great organization! Thanks for the experience!
