I'm involved with a project that involves using pipe as a torque tube, and the company that we are working for prefers to use drill stem as its main source for their current part. Problem is, what they usually order (6") is way too light for what we want to do with it, but I can't be sure until I know what the strength specs are, so if someone knows what applicable codes (api or other) and perhaps grades define the strength and composition of drill stem, I would be very appreciative of the help! I'm not looking for exact specs, but just "where" to look. Thanks!
