SCUSE ME!!!!I PRAY TO YOU BECAUSE I HAVE A BIG PROBLEM: WHAT IS THE MOST EVIDENT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ISSUE "A" (2002) OF THE AMS-STD-1595 (SUPERSEDED BY AWS D17.1) AND THE FIRST AMS-STD-1595?
CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE?

Welcome to the forum!

I'm not sure I understand the question.

1595 has undergone several revisions, I did not know there was a 2002 revision as you are suggesting, I couldn't find it myself.

The original (I think) was published in 1982 and there are at least two revisions (1987 and 1998), and finally D17 to superseed them all.

There are many differences between D17 and 1595, inspection criteria being one of the big changes.

Maybe you can say a little more about exactly what your looking for and I bet somebody can help you more.

Thanks for sending the link,

I did not know that the 2002 revision of 1595 existed. Since the specification that is supposed to superseed it (D17) came out in 2001 I'm also a bit confused.

I have not seen the text of the newest 1595. I'm sorry I can't offer any comparisons. I guess I'm in the boat with you, wanting to know what the differences are. :)
