Your getting a welding machine under the tree!

Nice...

Both are capable, both can come with pulsers.

Each are excellent performers (I have both)

Synchrowave has been on the market much longer and that specific machine has a longer record demonstrating excellence.

Lincoln has the phenomenon of weldnig AC aluminum more quietly than Synchrowave... any tech heads want to explain that? I'd like to know.

Do you like red or blue?

Which offers the best price? (careful to make sure you compare models with the same options)

You win either way.

I have the Lincoln 275 Precision TIG at home & Miller TIG machines at work. I love both of them & in IMHO they stack up equally to each other with equal options. The reason I ended up with the Lincoln was the $$$. Good luck with your purchase.
