Does anyone have any plans for making a tube bender that they would like to share?

or

do you know where I can buy a cheap tube bender? I need it to make a go kart for my kids and I don't want to spend a $800 on a tool to make a $200 project!

any help, plans, or links would be greatly appreciated!

Have you ever used their (12 TON HYDRAULIC PIPE BENDER ) bender to bend tubing used in making roll cages? I read that this type of bender is primarily used for conduits and that it tends to lighter tubing.

Has anyone ever used this type of bender to make roll cages?

Your original post says something about "go carts" not roll cages.

the harbor freight tool would be dandy for a 200 dollar go cart.

If your going to be building roll cages invest more money and get a better tool

sheesh

I have one of those benders from harbor freight. It does just fine bending steel pipe. I have had no problems with it. I used mine to make some roll cage bars for a go kart we used to have.
