Do you have to have a written procedure for each fabrication process you have, or only the minimum required?

Not sure what you are asking. I would assume you have already been to the AISC website. They have outlines of what they are looking for. They also have sample procedures that are incomplete, but are guides to begin with or give you an idea which way to go. Also would like to suggest the Boot Camp that they offer. They go through the whole process step by step, word by word. Lets you know what is fluff and what they really are looking for. The seminar is not boring either, especially if you get Anne Petroski and Terry Logan. They feed you M&Ms and may even pay you for right answers.

The Boot camp is now conducted by Atema Solutions. It is still Terry and Anna doing the teaching.

You don't have to have a procedure for every process, just the listed minimums, but you will have to demonstrate how you control the unwritten process procedures. Keep in mind that a procedure could be as simple as a flow chart, or could be a lengthy document.
