recs on preferred tunsten

who manufactures high performance tungsten electrodes and where can i get it. the local supply sells only chinese made and i have heard there are problems with it. they can special order, but if i have to go to that trouble, i will order it myself. also, quality torch parts. prefer american.

I don't nkow whats going on these days but I'm haveing trouble ordering local also.My supplyer only carries thoriated and pure and had to order the size I wanted and that was over a week ago.Still no tungsten.I just ordered from Diamond Ground and they were very nice to deal with.Since I just ordered yesterday I can't comment on quickness but I know others speak highly of them.

thanks, will check it out. i have heard that sylvainia (sp?) produces a high quality electrode, and made in US.
