Hey guys, Not sure if this is even the right place to post this so if the admin needs to move this please do so. I am going this summer to the CWE/ CWI seminar in Chicago the last week of July. I am a high school and colledge welding instructor and would like a few more credintials before I start issuing certs for my students. I have read alot on the board and talked with several other peple on this matter but would also like the general CWI/ CWE public's opinion. I obviously want to be as prepared as possible so that is what I am asking you guys and gals. Andy Godley suggested the book called welding inspectors and their jobs which I have ordered. I am also plan on getting the api 1104 book and manual. From talking with several people and reading here the 1104 exam is the way to go, does anyone disagree? I have also been recommended to Hobarts welding school instead of just the seminar since it is much more in detail but unfortunantely my schedule this summer will not accomidate theirs. Any help or hints I can get would be greatly appreciated. I am really excited about being able to certify my students vs. just giving them a certificate and I want to be sure they don't get the short end of the stick. Thanks for your help folks. Dale
