Dan,
I think it is a 1979 model .I bought it in 1983 in Gillette, Wyo.
This machine is rated 400amps @60%. You can air arc with 3/8 carbon and it doesn't seem to be working hard. It is a 2400lb unit.
I am located in N.E. SD asking $ 2000.00

how many hours are on the welder, engine?
Parent - - By Sand Man (**) Date 03-01-2005 12:42
I don't know, it never had a hour meter. It runs smooth, welds good, all the controls work. it has been very well maintained.
The only reason it isn't still on my truck is I needed to lose weight.
I still sometimes miss the extra capacity, and the quiet machine.

Dan,
if you are welding 1/8 7018, you can run about 12 hours, more or less.
Doing heavy work, 8-10 hrs. 20 gallon tank.
