A guy I worked with a while ago had what he called the pipefitters handbook. It is a small blue book and tells how to layout and fabricate various shapes. He told me I could get it at any welder supply store. I went to the local supply store some time ago and they said I could find it on the AWS website. Does anyone know anything about this?? It would be very handy to have. He said it is about $20. It descibes how to build pretty much everything you can think of. Thanks!!!

I personal think Graves is a better book than Franklin. The blue book you describe sounds like a Grave. It has saddle lay outs and a number of great tips. You can go to BrownBooks.com and find what you need. Its about $19.00 bucks.
