Structural General Notes in construction document drawings often contain the following note: "All welding shall be done by quailified welders and shall conform to the AWS "Code for Arc and Gas Welding in Building Construction", lasted edition". I cannot find this Code reference anywhere on the AWS website or in the catalog. Is this an old Code that maybe was replaced by AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code - Steel?
