I once had to rent a Lincoln Commander 500 (brand new) for a weekend as I swapped trannys in my rig. Going rate around here for a fairly good sized local rental place was about $75 or $80 a day just for the welder and leads (no clue on what a spool gun would run). I thought it was fairly cheap considering, not to mention they gave it to me Sunday for free.

However, perhaps if this is your personal machine, you should look into usage hrs. Lending out at $10-$15 an hour isn't asking too much to me, and ensures a fair trade for both sides.
