Hi, I don't know if there's a standard for specimen color markings, but we do have color markings, one color on each end for our charpy test specimens. Blue/white , Red/ White, Red/Black are the colorings and colors are supposed to stand for C1045, C1018, hot rolled and colled formed. I'm suspecting white is for cold formed and black is for hot rolled, but I don't know what blue and red are.

Thanks in advance for helping.
