What are the fluxes and solders availible for this. zinc chloride and plumbers' solder does not work well enough. I need something that really wets well into the joints. Is my problem in the flux not cutting through the chromium oxides. I need a low temp solder so the sheet doesn't warp a severly when heated.

A flux formulated for stainless steel will likely do a better job of oxide removal and attachment to a 300 series stainless steel. The solder can include a tin lead or Lead-Free. Heating and process are key to this application - which is easy to say, but makes a difference for applications.

Does this look like it will help?
