Can i get some help on this software? This is a program that you can use to build (WPS) and (PQR) on your computer. I think Arcworks is the name of this program but i may be wrong. I have heard of a program called wps designer. Give me some info if you have any.

Arc works is a Lincoln program. There are several different programs avalaible if you realy are looking. None of them are cheap. C-spec is one of the best and most expensive. Try a search of WPS software. I use WPS Design 3.0 and I know there are more out there. It is just a matter of how much you will spend and what features you want.

Thanks jfwi. Is WPS Design 3.0 from C-spec? I did go to C-Spec.com and yes it is expensive for the software. Thanks for the help.

Sorry I completely blew the details, the company is IWE - Consulting, Inc. The software is still reasonable unlike some of the big name software on the market today.

Contact Nick Mossman at C-spec at 1-888-673-9777 or their web site is cpec.com or weldoffice.com. They will be glad to assist. I am a user of the Weldspec and WelderQual software and it is a very powerful and versatile welding software product.

Arc works may not be supported by Lincoln anymore but may be covered by someone else.

There are quite a few companies out there. If the money is avaialabale and you need to do some extensive data storage and sharing I like C-Spec. On my website at http://www.weldinginspectionsvcs.com/otherPeoplesWeldingSoftware.htm there are a few links to different organizations in the past with welding related software. Some may be no longer up.

I have some ASME and AWS databases in MS Access if you don't need anything fancy. One of them is completely unprotected and free to download.

There is one for sale ($60.00) at http://www.weldinginspectionsvcs.com/ASMEWPS_PQR_WPQ_Database.htm that has a demo download that works until the 20th of March if you want to try it out. The demo requires MS Access 2000 or later. A version with access can be made but the additional cost is about the same as you just buying MS Access.

The WPS-Designer website appears to be down.

There is a free program very similar to ARCWORKS I found a few months back that is no longer sold or supported by the company but I haven't located their website again

Hope this helps.

We use the weder management system out of Kansas City.
User friendly and not to expensive.
