hey im wondering where i could find 2" steel square tubing around a store thats most likely by minneapolis/st. paul region anyways i dont wanna order it cuz shipping is like 40$ and dont wanna do that. so i was wondering where would i get it at a store im just soouth of minneapolis/st. paul that region thx for help

I assume that the problem is that you only want a piece or two and the steel suppliers have high delivery charges on small orders. Often the steel companies will sell small quantities if you go there. Some welder/fabricators will sell at retail or would add your piece to their order for you. You will then have to wait until the order gets large enough to trigger delivery.

Further to Bill Vanderhoof's reply, you may want to try LeJeune Steel ( a fabricator) or Ryerson ( a steel supplier), both in the Twin Cities area.
