I am looking for a Tig welder for our design shop. The main fab. line took our Mig welder and since we work with a lot of alum. a Tig would be better.

Our price range is $1200 to $1400. Besides the increase in amperage, what advantages does the Lincoln SW Tig 175 pro have over the Hobart Tigmate, to make up for the higher price?

We aren't doing any heavy amount of welding, but will do some stick welding too.
