We are in the process of purchasing Fabtrol. You have two right arms I assume, because it will cost you one of them.

That said, Fabtrol is the Cadillac in the industry and, if it performs as well as advertised and witnessed to by others, it will be well worth the investment. That is assuming all who need to input data into the system, do it efficiently and accurately. GIGO.

You may also have a look at Steel Solutions.

As far as functionality, custom solutions, and features, they really can't be beat.

They are small and the software doesn't look as cool as Fabtrol's, but there are things Visual Steel 2000 does that Fabtrol can't touch in terms of labor tracking, multing, data integration, bar-coding, etc...

A lower end, but still very good app is called Fabsuite by www.steelssc.com . As I said, it is smaller, but the interface is really good and the multing is just awesome.
