Hi
I run a 180 amp MiG on BOC (british oxygen company) Argoshield, i am looking at buying a 160 amp AC/DC TIG set and wondering if i can save money on having to rent and buy another bottle of pureshield argon for the TIG? can i use the less pure MIG argoshield as a shielding gas with the TIG ? or only on limited materials?
Many Thanks

Richy

Argon and Helium only for tig. Tig requires an Inert gas and that leaves out the mig gasses.

Sorry, but it just wont work,
