Does anyone know where I can get a chart that will show me what thickness is required for a seamless head on a 6' dia hydrostatic tested vessel. Or will I have to calculate per ASME sec. VIII. The Hydro is per AWWA C200. The PSI for the hydro will be 300 and the mat'l is A516. Thank you

Have not seen such a chart before, there are so many head variables.
i.e. is the head ellipsoidal, hemispherical, conical, spherically dished, torispherical, toriconical..

I think you will have to run the Div. I calcs.

No chance, Bruno, you'll have to calculate it according to ASME VIII Division I.
Of course, there are computer programs that will save you from making the calculations; you just enter with the variables and the program does all the rest. However, those programs are expensive and it's not worthwhile to buy one of them just to calculate one dished head.
Go ahead! ASME isn't as complicated as you think it is when you look at it for the first time.
