Can only comment on the AMI equipment that we have, an older model now but it works unbelievably beautiful... Only negative comments would be if (or when) you need to buy replacement parts or service be prepared; they are horrendously expensive!!!
I have used the 207 and the 207A and even the Old 107 worked pretty well. Most of the problems I have seen (on the above mentioned models) were not the power source/pc but the heads. Every time we sent one out to be repair it was $1500. The company I work for has 16 or 20 power sources (mostly 207's) and a couple of Deimetrics as well. You probably see how Arc designed the imbilicles so you have to buy the short imbilicle even if you would like to keep a 50' extension that's pretty clever.
