In norm ASME I, the PW-11 item, it has a requirement of accomplishment of non destructive testing for x-ray Question: For a boiler with diametro of the body of 3200 mm and PMT of 142 PSI where we must make Radiographic assay? It can be spot? We can substitute for UT?

Normally Steam drum RT is a 100% welds with joint efficency 1.00. Yes you can substitute by a proper UT with recording facility with proper calibration and demonstration proficiency by qualified ASNt NDT Level II skilled operator having good mentality for defect exploration.
