Take the book to the school's reading specialist and have it grade level evaluated. It may be a great book but written at a reading skill level above the high school level. Or, what is the reading skill level of the students; can they read and understand the book? Join hands with academia and make a great experience for the students. I have seen grade 10 - 12 welding students who could not read above the grade 4 -5 level. Excellent students but reading wasn't their skill. Have a great school year.
