With regards to the above mentioned subject I have following queries.

1) Whether PWHT has to done after completion of the weld?

2) What electrode and filler metal to be used for the welding process?

3) Whether butterring is required to have a sound weld joint ?

I will be very thankful to receive a early response from forum.

I'm still not clear.
1. You want ot use 316 s.s for backing material on a P91 weld? Why?
2. What are you builing in western India?
3. Are you testing welders? (ASME Sec. IX is for testing welders)

You need to give more detail.
