I need to build a rotator for 1 1/2 - 4 in. stainless steel. Any ideas?

a bench top would be great. it would be use for fittings in the wine ind. 1 1/2 - 4 in.

Hi,

I am kuppu from india.we are actually manufaturing welding positoners and rotators since 1952.Plz tell me geometric feature of component, angle of swivelling reqd, weight of component, turning capacity etc.

One very small tip for a simple rotational ground connection. A few commercial units I've seen use a flat, braided copper strap, wrapped around the main shaft of the turn table. One end of the strap has a lug to connect to the welding power supply and the other end has a tension spring to pull the strap tight around the shaft. Works suprisingly well.
