Just to inform some of ya'll,you can get FEMA books free. I was looking to download a copy of FEMA 355B (State of the Art Report on Welding and Inspection) and came across a website that was selling it for $45.00. Why would anyone want to pay for a book that the government will give you for free?

Whan I requested the FEMA 353 docs. I got 350-355 and a CD with all of the material in searchable form. It was FREE

I don't know how to get it mailed on disc but here is one way to get it for free.

Also you can go here: http://www.fema.gov/ and type in "welding" into the internal search engine and get a load of articles and reports from oil tank safety to welding gloves to protect against horse bites.

I'm not 100% certain, but I think we received the whole set of 350series books for "free", along with a CD of the entire library as well, simply by asking. An engineer that works here laid a set on my desk on day, and I was under the impression that they were free.
