Morning All, I've been tasked with trying to find a solution to welding this 1215. It is not of the leaded variety, but the sulfer, phospherous, and silicon, (customer was trying to weld with E-70S-6, 90-10ar 02) were all helping the underbead cracking. It's a hub on a low carbon pully
for an automotive app. I would love nothing more than to see them change material, but they are doing tier one for a large us automaker. Material change will be difficult at best. But I am working that end as well. Any thoughts or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
