On low amps it will burn the wire all the way up inside the gun before it ever starts welding. I have noticed that when the amps are turned up, it does weld OK. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any suggestions for a fix?
With typical MIG welders, the two basic adjustments available are voltage and wire feed speed. The amperage is adjusted by altering the wire feed speed. Are you welding using the suggested parameters that (hopefully) came with the unit?
