New limits for welding fumes are being published by recognized institutions like OSHA and Mayo Clinic regarding Cr6 (hexavalent chromiun) and Mn (manganese) fumes, in the first case upper limit 52 mg/m3 in the past it is now fixed in 1 mg/m3, in the second one very serious medical investigation paper talks about brain damage discovered at late date ( 1 to 25 years).
