Inconel 738 and Inconel 718 are difficult alloys to braze because of their Ti and Al percentages. How are you planning on brazing these materials (furnace, torch, etc)? There are some lower temperature alloys and fluxes that may wet the base materials depending on the application and the percentages of Ti and Al in the base material. Nickel plating may also be something to look at if you were looking to furnace or torch braze at lower temperatures. This will allow many different alloys to wet the plated surface. For high temperature and high strength applications, nickel brazing may be the best option to look into. For more specific recommendations please feel free to email me.
