Veco Alaska has immediate openings for Pipe and Structural Welders to work in our module fabrication shop in Anchorage, Alaska. Three (3) month assignment.

$24.50 per hour for Pipe Welders

And

$21.00 per hour for Structural Welders

Working 6 X 10’s with $60.00 /Day Per Diem.

Pipe Welders need to be proficient in the following processes:
Tig/Stick on 2” pipe
Tig Root, Stick Out
Stick/Dual Shield (fluxcore) on 6” Heavy Wall
Stick Root with fluxcore (wire feed) to cap it off

Structural Welders need to be proficient in the following process:
Stick and Fluxcore: Both tests are on a 1” plate in 3G (vertical) and 4G (overhead) positions.
